Tow Truck with Motorcycle on Flatbed
A tow truck carries a motorcycle on its loading bed.
In this coloring page a motorcycle stands safely on the flat bed of a tow truck. The truck is drawn from the side, with a driver's cab, a small unit on the roof, large wheels and the long, straight loading bed. The motorcycle shows many nice details and is the eye-catcher of the picture.
What can you see?
On the motorcycle you can spot the handlebar with a mirror, the round headlight, the seat, the engine with fine lines and the two wheels with spokes. The tow truck behind has big, calm areas. It is a good way to compare how differently a large transport vehicle and a narrow two-wheeler are built.
Ideas for coloring
- The tow truck in a bold color
- The motorcycle in a shiny tone
- The engine with a few darker details
- The seat and the grips in another color
Who is this motif for?
The truck has large areas, and the motorcycle adds finer lines. The picture fits children from about six years who already color calmly and carefully. If you like, start with the big areas of the truck and then work your way piece by piece toward the small parts on the engine.
How many wheels can you count in the whole picture?
A motorcycle is carried on the loading bed when it cannot ride by itself, for example after a breakdown. It is fastened with straps so it stands safely on the way and does not tip over. That way it reaches the garage undamaged. Feel free to add a road underneath and a sky above so the journey can begin, and think about where the motorcycle might be taken.
